Exploring a Run for Congress: Why I’m Considering This Next Step

For as long as I can remember, Upstate New York and the North Country have been my home—a place built on hard work, strong communities, and resilience. From small towns and family farms to local businesses and manufacturing, this region has always been defined by the people who call it home—people who work hard, support their families, and want to see their communities thrive.

But over the years, I’ve watched as jobs disappeared, businesses struggled, and young people left because they didn’t see opportunities here. I’ve heard from small business owners who feel crushed by government overreach, farmers facing skyrocketing costs, and families worried about their future. Like so many others, I believe we deserve better—and that’s why I’m exploring a run for Congress.

Why I’m Considering This Next Step

As a business owner and problem-solver, I’ve spent my career tackling challenges head-on. I know firsthand what it takes to create jobs, build businesses, and navigate government red tape—but more importantly, I understand the frustration of seeing policies made in Washington that hurt the very people they’re supposed to help.

Our district deserves real leadership that puts our communities first. We need someone who understands the challenges of running a business, raising a family, and building a future in Upstate New York. We need a voice that will fight for:

✅ Economic Growth & Jobs – Supporting small businesses, cutting taxes, and creating real opportunities.
✅ Lower Costs & Less Regulation – Reducing government overreach so businesses can thrive.
✅ Stronger Rural Communities – Expanding infrastructure, broadband, and essential services.
✅ Real Solutions, Not Politics as Usual – Focusing on what actually matters to the people who live and work here.

Exploring this run is about listening to you—your concerns, your struggles, and your hopes for the future. I believe this district deserves better, and I want to be part of the solution.

What Comes Next?

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be traveling across the district—from Clinton to Saratoga, from Jefferson to St. Lawrence—to meet with business owners, community leaders, farmers, and families. I want to hear what matters most to you.

This isn’t just about me—it’s about all of us. It’s about fighting for a stronger Upstate and North Country, protecting our way of life, and making sure the next generation has a reason to stay and build a future here.

I’d love to hear from you. What are the biggest challenges in your community? What issues matter most to you? Let’s start the conversation.
